The Genetic Apex SP Emblem Event 1 is now live in Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket, offering players a chance to earn valuable prizes by winning consecutive battles. Launched on December 9, this event challenges players to complete increasingly difficult battles in order to collect special emblems, with a gold and purple crown being the top prize. The event runs until December 16, and losing any battle will reset progress, making it the most challenging event yet.

Pokemon TCG Pocket, which debuted on October 31, has already gained significant popularity, earning over $200 million in revenue in its first month. This places it behind only Pokemon Sleep and Pokemon Unite in terms of app revenue for the franchise. The game has continued to expand with regular events, offering new cards and features for players to enjoy. The Genetic Apex SP Emblem Event 1 is one of the most difficult PvP events so far, with players needing to win multiple battles consecutively to earn emblems. In addition, the event includes 10 special missions that reward players with Pack Hourglasses and Shinedust, which can be earned by participating in battles of any kind, not just event battles.

The rewards for completing these 10 missions include 24 Pack Hourglasses and 3,850 Shinedust. Looking ahead, new booster packs are expected to be added by the end of 2024, with Genetic Apex packs remaining in the game. In January 2025, players will also be able to trade certain cards, with the feature gradually rolling out. While the next event is rumored to be the Bulbasaur and Magnemite Wonder Pick Event 2, this has not been confirmed.
