Last weekend, the CUPEF-FLT Global Leadership Training 2024 featured an amazing Trainer, Ms Salwa Khaled Hashem- a community leader and women empowerment advocate from Kurdistan region of IRAQ.
Salwa joined the Faculty of Medical Laboratory in 2018 at Jihan Duhok University and worked as a volunteer from the age of 19 years and involved in charitable business as the leader of the First Volunteer Team in Duhok, where more than 3,000 people have benefited from the program such as the refugees and people of the city as well.
Salwa was chosen in 2023 as the representative of the community by UNCHR International and to this day, she has operated many activities that exhibits the capabilities and success of women as young leaders who are able to achieve dozens of achievements and businesses.
She works as a social media influencer and encourages women's rights globally.
On behalf of Culture of Peace Foundation (CUPEF) and Future Leaders Training (FLT), we thank our distinguished Trainer, Ms Salwa for delivering great lecture on the "Importance of Volunteersim". We believe that young leaders have learned important information that would inspire and guide them in becoming successful volunteers in their leadership journey. We look forward to another opportunity and future collaboration.
