On April 27, 2024, the CUPEF-FLT Global Leadership Training featured an amazing Trainer, Ms Omotola Fawunmi - a Nigerian born Global Social Impact Changemaker and a Certified Leadership Trainer based in the United States of America.
Omotola Fawunmi is a graduate of History and International Relations from Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile ife. She holds a Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management from Pan-Atlantic University, Lagos, and Ethical Human Social and Behavioural Research Investigation from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), United States, Entrepreneurship Innovation and Social Change from UN Mandated University for Peace (UPEACE), Costa Rica.
Omotola holds a Certificate in American Foreign Policy from Hillsdale College, USA, and a Certificate in the Arts of Politics from Leadership Institute Virginia, USA. She is a John Maxwell Certified Leadership Trainer, Mentor and Coach. She holds a Certificate in Diversity, Equity and Inclusion from the University of South Florida.
She is an International Development Consultant working at the intersection of public, private, academic and social sectors. She serves as a Youth Representative of the Human Capital Development Policy Commission, and Government and Institutions Policy Commission of the NESG. In September 2021, she joined the the UN Foundation to advocate for increased funding from Congress to the Presidential Malaria Initiative for $902million for FY22.
Omotola works to end modern slavery through Rebirth Hub Africa, It Rescues, Returns, Rehabilitates and Reintegrates victims of modern slavery. She is a recipient of many awards; her commitment to Human Capital Development continues to inform how she interacts and engages with individuals, institutions, businesses and governments.
Omotola is currently a graduate student of Oral Roberts University, Oklahoma (Organizational Leadership) as well as Liverpool John Moore's University, UK (Masters in International Relations).
She resides in Maryland.
