We are pleased to introduce our next Trainer- Ms Vajeen Shawkat Tayeb.

Ms Vajeen is a university lecturer at Sociology Department of University of Duhok. She obtained her Bachelor's degree from the same department and pursued her Master's degree in International Cooperation and Development from the University of Pavia, Italy. 

With over decade of experience in the humanitarian and development space, Vajeen co-founded a local organization in Duhok in 2014, dedicated in supporting vulnerable communities, including internally displaced people and refugees. 

Previously she held the role of Protection Program Manager for Iraq Mission with East organization, operating in various areas such as Sinjar, Kirkuk, and Duhok.

Currently, she teaches Anthropology and Sociology of Environment.
