Last weekend, the CUPEF-FLT Global Leadership Training 2024 hosted an amazing Trainer and a seasoned professional Ms Ruby Ross Mariabo who took the participants on essential topic "Time Management".
Ruby Ross is the Founder of CHC AgriTech Africa LTD, a start-up focused on building rural communities in Africa starting with Nigeria, through knowledge sharing on agricultural innovation for sustainable agriculture using eco-friendly solutions for African farmers.
With a decade of experience as a public servant, Ruby Ross has gained insights into community development in diverse sectors. In Nigeria she pioneered Microbiome Technology, and through CHC AgriTech Africa, has trained thousands of farmers, improving their productivity and yields. The company's Microbiome technology products are eco-friendly, cost-effective, fast-acting, and easy-to-use enabling farmers to grow highly exportable crops without compromising environment's health and safety.
Ruby's commitment to sustainable development goals (SDG 2 & 13) for African farmers especially women in Agriculture (SDG 5) is evident as her venture aims to reach 2 million farmers (SDG 1) in the next five years through capacity building, technology transfer training, demonstrations, farm consultations and community involvement (SDG 11).
With a background in Project Management, and equipped training on Agroecology, nutritional immunology, and community development, she has a strong passion to create impact on Food Sufficiency and Climate Change Advocacy.
Ruby Ross is also one of the 47 Watson Institute Western Union Foundation Fellows amongst 2,200 applicants across 15 countries of global leaders.
