Last week Saturday, the CUPEF-FLT Global Leadership Training 2024 featured an amazing Trainer, Dr. Eman Sobh (M.D, Ph.D) from Egypt- an Assistant Professor of Chest Diseases at Al-Azhar University Egypt and Taibah University, Saudi Arabia.
She graduated from Al-Azhar University Faculty of Medicine with excellence and grade of honor and recieved a Master of Science degree (MSc.) and Medical Doctorate degrees (M.D, PhD.) from Al-Azhar University. She has supervised postgraduates projects. She is an editorial Board Member and a Reviewer for several international journals.
Volunteering activities and public engagement in research are her areas of interests. She is a Certified Trainer for softskills, scientific publishing, and project management. Training and capacity building in science and research is part of her day-to-day life ( respiratory medicine, softskills, researcher's empowerment).
She is also a volunteer mentor and provides training to students, interns, and faculty members at her institute and internationally. She participated in organizing several workshops and conferences, and patient engagement activities. Her research interests includes respiratory diseases, smoking cessation, non-communicable diseases, higher education, and capacity building in science and research.
Currently, she is the Director of Communication for African Science Frontier Initiatives (ASFI) and co-covener of the ASFI series.
She dreams of creating a fruitful environment for research and collaboration in Africa.
With over 50 publications linked to her name on Google Scholar, Dr. Eman is an accomplished researcher, human resource development professional and an inspiration to the young generation.
